My favorite time of the year is here: getting my hands on some Korean skincare goodies on sale! And I think most of us K-beauty lovers can agree that, in this economy, there’s nothing quite as satisfying as finding our favorite Korean skincare and makeup products at a discount.
With YesStyle’s Black Friday sale underway, I thought that now seems like the perfect time to revisit our skincare routines (and maybe finally try a few products we’ve had our eyes on). From November 9 to 16, selected K-beauty products are available at discounts of up to 50%. Yes, you read that right! YesStyle is also running coupon promotions on qualifying orders throughout the week, so there are plenty of offers to look out for.
But with so many products to choose from, where do you even start? Which ones are actually worth trying?
For this post, I thought I’d focus on something I’ve been paying more attention to lately: my nighttime skincare routine. I’ve been trying to build a routine that works for my skin and, more importantly, stay consistent with it. After all, consistency is often what makes the biggest difference when it comes to skincare.
So, here I’ll be sharing some of my K-beauty picks from the YesStyle Black Friday sale 2026. Hopefully, you’ll find something that suits your skin’s needs, whether you’re looking to address a specific concern or simply make your evening routine a little better.
Let’s dive right in!
First Things First: Wash the Day Off
If there’s one step I don’t skip at night, it’s cleansing. Think of sunscreen, makeup, excess oil, and everything else that builds up on our skin throughout the day. With this in mind, even on days when I’m exhausted, I would cleanse and use toner. We’re living real lives, so of course we won’t always be consistent, but doing just these two steps is much better than nothing.

One of my favorite cleansers that I use specifically at night is the haruharu wonder Black Rice Moisture Cleansing Oil. And hear me out. You don’t need to double cleanse. I feel like this works great as a standalone cleanser for removing all the makeup and impurities from the skin. It keeps the pores clean as well. As someone with large pores and prone to blackheads, this has been a lifesaver. Those of you who are sensitive to scents can also use it, as it’s fragrance free.
If you have oily or acne-prone skin and prefer that extra-clean feeling, feel free to follow up with a gentle water-based cleanser. Just remember that clean skin shouldn’t feel tight or stripped afterward.
And don’t let the word oil scare you off, especially if you’re acne-prone! I have acne-prone skin myself, and I’ve found that this cleansing oil works well for me without causing breakouts. It’s also worth remembering that whether a product clogs pores isn’t determined by one ingredient alone. The overall formulation matters, and everyone’s skin can respond differently.
There’s no need to overcomplicate cleansing, really, if your skin already feels clean and comfortable.
Next Up: Serums and Treatments That Actually Address Your Skin Concerns
Once cleansing is out of the way, it’s time for my favorite part of a nighttime skincare routine: serums! This is where you can get a little more specific about what your skin needs, whether that’s extra hydration, help with uneven skin tone, or improving the appearance of fine lines.
But here’s something I’ve learned over time: you don’t need to use every active ingredient out there to get results. I know how tempting it is but using too many products at once could lead to irritation and become harder to figure out what’s actually working.
Instead, I’d recommend choosing one or two treatments based on your main skin concerns and giving them time to work. And since we’re shopping the Black Friday offers, I’ve picked out a few options worth looking into.
For Skin That Needs a Little Extra Hydration and Calming
Let’s start with something simple but effective: the SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella Asiatica 100 Ampoule. If your skin tends to feel irritated, dehydrated, or just needs a break from stronger actives, this is one of those products worth considering.

The formula focuses on centella asiatica, an ingredient known for its soothing properties. It has a lightweight, watery texture, so it doesn’t feel like you’re adding another heavy layer to your face.
I particularly like the idea of keeping a soothing serum in your routine for nights when your skin isn’t feeling its best. Not every evening needs to be about exfoliating or treating pigmentation (and it shouldn’t). Most of the time, focusing on hydration and keeping your skin comfortable is enough.
And if you’re using stronger ingredients like retinal on other nights, having a simpler routine to fall back on can be useful.
For Uneven Skin Tone, Excess Oil, and Visible Pores
Now, if you’re dealing with excess oil, uneven skin tone, or visible pores, let’s talk about niacinamide. I’m sure some of you may already be tired of me talking about niacinamide. It seems that it’s just a hyped-up ingredient, but in reality it’s very well researched, and it works! But which niacinamide product is worth trying? One I’d recommend here is the Jumiso Niacinamide 10 Serum.

With 10% niacinamide, this serum is aimed at those looking to address concerns like oiliness, breakouts, and uneven tone. If you’re new to niacinamide or your skin is easily irritated, you may want to start with something gentler. A formula with 2-5% niacinamide would be more suitable in your case.
And a little reminder about pores: no serum can actually shrink them permanently. Pore size is largely influenced by genetics, but managing excess oil and keeping pores clear can help make them appear less noticeable.
My advice? Don’t expect overnight changes. Give the product time, use it consistently if your skin tolerates it, and pay attention to how your skin responds rather than introducing several new treatments at once.
For Fine Lines and Uneven Texture: Let’s Talk About Retinal
If you’ve been looking into skincare for fine lines, uneven texture, or post-acne marks, chances are you’ve come across retinol or retinal. And while the names sound almost identical, they’re not quite the same thing.
Both are vitamin A derivatives, but retinal requires one fewer conversion step in the skin before becoming retinoic acid. One product worth checking out is the KSECRET SEOUL 1988 Serum: Retinal Liposome 2% + Black Ginseng.

The formula combines a retinal liposome complex with black ginseng, making it an option worth looking into if you’re interested in introducing a retinoid into your nighttime routine.
Now, a quick reminder before you get too excited about adding retinal to your cart: more isn’t always better, especially when it comes to active ingredients. If you’re new to retinoids, start slowly! Dryness and irritation can happen, so giving your skin time to adjust is important.
Also, don’t let the 2% in the product name confuse you. It refers to the retinal liposome complex, not a 2% concentration of pure retinal (it would be too harsh and extremely unusual).
And one last thing: sunscreen during the day is especially important when using retinoids. There’s little point in putting effort into your nighttime routine while neglecting sun protection the following morning.
Now, you don’t necessarily have to pick just one serum for your nighttime routine. You can easily combine two, depending on your needs.
Don’t Forget to Moisturize: Keep Your Skin Comfortable Overnight
I’ve noticed that moisturizing is one of those steps people tend to underestimate, especially if they have oily or acne-prone skin. But producing excess oil doesn’t necessarily mean your skin has enough moisture. In fact, oily skin can be dehydrated too.
And if you’re using active ingredients like retinal, keeping your skin moisturized becomes even more important. A good moisturizer helps reduce moisture loss, supports your skin barrier, and can make your nighttime routine feel much more comfortable.
Now, I’ve picked out two moisturizers from YesStyle’s Black Friday sale, depending on what your skin needs.
For Everyday Moisturizing: Beauty of Joseon Dynasty Cream

If you have normal or combination skin and want a reliable everyday moisturizer, the Beauty of Joseon Dynasty Cream is worth trying out. It contains rice bran water, ginseng, squalane, and niacinamide, which help keep the skin hydrated and comfortable.
It’s a nice option if you’re looking for a moisturizing cream that fits easily into your routine without needing several additional products.
For Dry Skin That Needs Extra Nourishment: Genabelle PDRN Enriched Recovery Balm
If you have dry skin or use retinoids and feel like your regular moisturizer isn’t quite enough, the Genabelle PDRN Enriched Recovery Balm might be worth considering.

This richer balm is designed to provide extra moisture and comfort, making it a great option for nights when your skin feels particularly dry.
You don’t need both moisturizers, of course. It’s really about choosing the one that suits your skin’s needs and keeping your routine consistent.
Don’t Forget Your Scalp: It Needs Skincare Too
There’s one more product I find particularly interesting, and I think it deserves a place in your nighttime routine. When we talk about skincare, we usually focus on our face, neck, and décolletage. But what about our scalp? It’s skin too, after all!

I’m talking about the lilyeve Grow Turn Exosome Brush Ampoule, a scalp treatment formulated with ingredients like caffeine, biotin, peptides, and plant-derived exosome complexes. It’s designed to support scalp health and address concerns about thinning hair.
And here’s why I think it fits so well into a nighttime routine. The treatment comes with a built-in brush applicator, making it easy to apply the serum directly to your scalp while giving yourself a little massage. You can make it part of your routine before bed and wash your hair the following morning if you prefer.
So, if you’ve been meaning to give your scalp a little more attention, this could be an interesting addition to your evening routine.
