What is the ISNTREE Green Tea Fresh Toner

The ISNTREE Green Tea Fresh Toner is infused with 80% green tea extract sourced from Jeju Island to help soothe and revitalize the skin. Designed with the needs of oily and combination skin in mind, this toner also features a patented blend, Anti Sebum P (HD), that helps regulate oil production and restore water-oil balance.

Application

Toners can be applied in various ways, depending on your preference and skincare needs.

1. Hand application which is also my preferred way of applying toners. Start by pouring a small amount of toner into your palm and gently patting it onto your face.

2. Cotton Pad. Soak a cotton pad with an appropriate amount of toner and swipe it gently across your face. This technique aids in removing any residual impurities, excess oil, or makeup that may remain on your skin.

3. DIY Temporary Face Mask. You can create a temporary face mask using toner-soaked cotton pads for an extra cooling and soothing effect. It’s a fantastic option when your skin needs a little extra TLC and relaxation.

Consistency

This toner has a thin and watery consistency that absorbs as soon as you apply the toner to your skin. There is no tackiness at any point, and it leaves no noticeable layer on the surface.

Scent

The herbal scent is neither overpowering nor unpleasant. It comes from the ingredients themselves, as the toner does not contain any added fragrance.

Performance

You know I love viscous hydrating toners, but as the weather gets warmer, I’ve found that the Green Tea Fresh Toner has been a great addition to my skincare routine. The lightweight consistency that absorbs instantly leaves my skin feeling refreshed.

As expected, it’s not particularly hydrating on its own, so I supplement the moisture my skin needs by following up with a serum or ampoule. In some cases, when it’s too hot outside, I even apply a moisturizing sunscreen directly after using the toner.

In terms of skin types, this is a perfect choice for those with oily and combination skin, as well as for individuals with acne-prone or sensitive skin. It has been effective in controlling sebum production, which is why I mainly use it in my morning routine to keep my skin balanced throughout the day.

I love that it’s packed with antioxidants which help to protect your skin from environmental aggressors. This is also one of the main reasons I like it despite not being enough hydrating for me. The polyphenols and catechins present in green tea help combat free radicals, which are responsible for premature aging and damage to the skin cells.

It does reduce some of my redness, but the effect is not very significant.
